Tensa Toggle Loops

Tensa Toggle Loops replace all variations of our “ball loops” sold with Tensa4 and Tensa Solo since 2019. The simple addition of proper toggles to replace the former balls makes for a massive usability boost, elevating these to all-purpose connectors akin to “soft shackles,” but having more uses. The toggle shape makes it easy to open and close the loops even in tension. Unlike the balls, the toggles can secure even thicker webbing, allowing quick connect and disconnect of Tensa4 baseline and ridgeline without having to open and close the loops. Of course, you can also hang a hammock or other hammock suspension directly from the toggle.

Amsteel rope has been quietly revolutionary for hammocks and in bigger fields, for its incredible tensile strength, minimal stretch, light weight, and ability to splice into elegant assemblies. Tensa Outdoor products have always leveraged these qualities. With a line break strength of 1600lbs/725kg in the 7/64″ size, it’s hard to come up with hammock configurations that would break these loops.

You can also purchase just the glass-reinforced nylon toggles for retrofit to older ball loops, or for DIY projects. Finished loop is 9″ long.
